What is an Escape Room?

An Escape Room is a physical game in real-life where players are 'locked' in a room and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles, find clues, and escape the room within 60 minutes. A virtual escape room takes the idea we just established and flips it on its head with you, the players, able to play from the comfort of your homes no matter where you are around the world. Your main objective being to connect with and help a live actor within the room solve the puzzles and escape the situation they’ve found themselves in.

How many games are there?

We have 4 rooms on our site: Bunker, Zodiac Killer, Prison Break x2 Our Bunker room is also used to host the Virtual Bunker Experience.

How long is one game?

Each game lasts for up to 60 minutes, there is also a 15 minute introduction where all rules will be explained. The whole experience lasts about 80 minutes to 90 minutes, including introduction, gameplay and debrief. It is important that you are on time to ensure you get the maximum amount of time in the rooms as possible.

Team sizes

Teams can vary in size, you are able to play with a minimum of 2 players and a maximum of 6 in each rooms. But remember the size of your group may be the deciding factor of whether you escape or not.

Are we really locked in the rooms?

Our Bunker room does not lock shut, the main door is unlocked the whole time. Our Zodiac Killer, and Prison Break rooms are locked and you must obtain an item or code to escape. However, these rooms all contain easily accessible panic buttons which immediately unlock the door in the event of an emergency. Players who may be claustrophobic or have other medical conditions are able to leave the rooms at any time if they need to do so.

Accessibility and special requirements

Our premises have been designed with wheelchair users in mind. The main reception area is wheelchair accessible as is our Bunker room, meaning that everyone can experience the game fully. Pregnant women can also fully enjoy our games as they are not physically challenging. There are some fear factors within Zodiac killer however these can be eliminated if requested Please be aware, for Zodiac Killer, there are elements within the game which require players to fit through confined spaces (approx. 60 cm width x 115 cm length), some players may struggle to fit through this space. However, if you have any serious medical issues which need to be brought to our attention, please inform your games master prior to your game starting.

I need to make a reservation for more than 6 people. What do I do?

What time do I need to arrive?

Please arrive at the time of your booking. Your allocated slot incorporates your 15-minute introduction so there's no need to arrive 15 minutes early. However, due to slots being pre-booked please ensure you are on time as late arrivals may have less time in the rooms, not optimising the experience fully.

How do I make a reservation?

Our rooms may be puzzles but booking them is quick and easy. To book your game please refer to our booking page. Alternatively you’re also free to call us on 02038765610 if you wish to discuss anything specific while making your booking. While we’re certainly able to book you in over the phone, booking via our website is the faster and more efficient method.

If you do not receive this email you will need to contact us as you may have not fully reserved the room or something may have gone wrong. A game is not guaranteed until you receive the confirmation email.
